Where Are Midtown & East Phillips Located?

The boundaries of these two Phillips neighborhoods are East 24th Street to the north, East Lake Street to the south, Hiawatha to the east, and Chicago Avenue to the west. Bloomington Avenue is the dividing line between East and Midtown Phillips.

WHO WE ARE

In April 2026, neighbors from East and Midtown Phillips voted to approve a merger of East Phillips Improvement Coalition (EPIC) and the Midtown Phillips Neighborhood Association (MPNAI).

Midtown-East Phillips Neighborhood Association, Inc. is a volunteer-led, community organization that advocates for a vibrant, safe, and healthy neighborhood.

Through regular meetings, outreach, and funding, we bring together diverse community members to celebrate Midtown Phillips and East Phillips and explore ways to make them even better.

OUR MISSION

Midtown-East Phillips shall promote the social health of the community by involving citizens in its activities and shall reach out to all segments of the community, including traditionally underrepresented groups.

Neighborhood Reps must reside in their neighborhood to be on the board.

At Large Reps must live, own property or represent a business/organization in their geographical area.

Participating on the board, at a minimum, involves attending monthly board meetings (currently held the second Thursday evening of each month), reviewing agendas in advance of those meetings, participating in an annual board training, and connecting with other neighbors inside/outside of events.
